COOGEE SURF CARNIVAL
NEW ZEALAND SUCCESSES GOOD SHOWING BY DALTON J , SYDNEY. Feb. 24 At the Cbogee surf carnival* last night New Zealand was well represented, and filled several places. In the international belt race, competing with picked beltmen frojn five Australian States, A. Dalton, of Canterbury, was placed third to F. Bennett, of New South Wales, and. Tom Boast, of Queensland. In the first heat of the senior belt race, an open event, A. Stokes, of Canterbury, was third to Clem Walsh, of Bondi, and L. McKay, of Narrabeen. - D. Symes, of Canterbury, started in a special first-class surf race, but was unplaced. In the junior surf race, the New Zealander, v H. Goldsmithj was third to A. Imrie, of Queensland, and J. Yeomans, of Bondi.
