FATAL CAPSIZE
TWO MEN KILEED ' —- MOTOR-CAR TYRE BURSTS 4 ACCIDENT NEAR BALCLUTHA [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] DUNEDIN, Sunday Two men were killed and two injured when a motor-car capsized on the main South Road seven miles from Balclutha on Saturday evening. Killed Mr. William Hunter, aged 60, married, of Balclutha. Mr. John Muir, aged 27, single, of Balclutha. Injured Mr. Clarence Albert Barnett, aged 24, single. Mr. Benhar Owen Wyber, aged 24, single. The car was returning from the Wingatui races when a tyre burst, causing the vehicle to turn over and throwing the occupants on to the r,oad. Hunter and Muir were killed outright. The other two men were slightly injured.
