LATE LORD RUTHERFORD

A memorial plaque to Lord Rutherford has been placed by a Manchester resident, Mr. G. W. Pettigrew-Smith, on his house in Wilmslow Road, Withington, where the scientist lived for l'A years. The inscription reads: "Lord Rutherford. 0.M., scientist, resided in this house 1907 to 1919. Died October, 1937. Interred in Westminster Abbey."
