TENTS FOR EVEREST
SPECIAL TYPE DESIGNED (Received February 6, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON. Feb. ft Tents specially, designed for high altitudes have been completed at Manchester and forwarded to the Everest expedition committee. The manufacturer explained that men confined in a small tent at high altitudes develop severe headaches, so the sides of the new tents can b« pulled out to give, a maximum of air space. The tents are; also: fitted with larger ventilators. Complete with poles., the tents weigh 101b, each.
