APPOINTMENT OF JUDGES [by TELEGRAPH —OWN correspondent] DARGAVILLE, Thursday The following judges have been appointed by the JSortnern Wairoa Agricultural and Pastoral Association for the annual show, which takes place at Mititai on February 16:—Heavy horses and ponies, Mr. T. V. Nutsford, Helensvilte; light horses, Sir. R. 0. Hinton, Eureka, Hamilton] pedigree Jerseys, Mr. W. J. Luxton, Hamilton; grade Jerseys, Mr. J. H. Morrison, Maungatapere; dairy stock, Mr. H. P. McLeod, Helensville; beast breeds, Mr. W. Dinnis, Hamilton; pigs, Mr. H. H. Preston, Auckland; fat sheep. Mr. W. Dinnis; Romney sheep, Mr. I. D. Greenwood, Leith; fruit and produce, Mr. W. Downs, Aucklandj cookery, jams and preserves, Mrs. P. Baffett, Whangarei; needlework and laundry, Mrs. A. J. Wright;, Kaikohe; Women's Institute courts, Mrs. A. D. ENTRIES AT FRANKLIN [from our own correspondent] PUKEKOHE, Thursday An innovation at the Franklin Agricultural and Pastoral Society's 53rd annual show, to bei held on February 18 and 19. will be the accommodating of the pedigree milking cows in covered pens. Sixty pens are being specially erected for the purpose ami should be completed . within a few days. In the past, enly open pens have been available. . Entries for the show are coming-in j rapidly and are expected to total 3000. Entries close on Saturday'eveuirifi:-
