REMANDS GRANTED Charged with carrying on tho business of a bookmaker at Ellerslie on Saturday, Thomas Leslie Boyle (Mr. Robinson), appeared in the Police Court before Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., yesterday. Accused was remanded until this morning, bail being fixed at £SO. A charge of converting a car valued at £llO, the property of Henry David Codger, was preferred against Georgo Nestor (Mr. Winter), who was remanded until February 7. Bail was allowed, for £SO.
