ENGINEER RESIGNS
WHANGAREI BOROUGH . [by telegraph—-owx corresponds] WHANGAREI, Tuesday • At a special meeting of the .W hangarei Borough Council last night the resignation was received of Mr. H. WCormack, who has been borough engineer since August, 1938. Mr. Cormack has accepted a position in Wellington. As before the - engineer's departed the most important works now in.hand will be completed and a new couccu will be elected in May, it was decided to defer the appointment of a successor for six months.
