DANCING AND PIPING AWARD [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION'] NEW PLYMOUTH, Sunday At the Taranaki Caledonian games at Hawera yesterday the New Zealand Highland reel championship was won by June Scott, of Palmerston North, with D. Bothwell second. The North Island championship for slow Highland airs was won by Mnrdo MacKenzie, Masterton, A. Kirkland, New Plymouth, being second. In the North Island championship men's sword dance Bothwell was first and Claudo Henderson second.
