Lustral might improve upon his third on Thursday and others likely to run good races are The Surgeon, Charade, Convivial, Southern Blood, Parry and Studley Royal. The favourites may be
HUSK IK LUSTRAL SOUTHERN BLOOD.
Ivar, who should be better suited by five furlongs than six, and Kathbella, a decisive winner on the first day, comprise a strong bracket. The favourites may be IVAR-KATHBELLA bracket ARVAKUR OX CALL.
Double Gift is consistent and Alloa is on the improve. Rabble should bo all the better for his .earlier racing at the meeting and Accomplice has plenty of speed. Rockingham should run a good race, while Thala, Mulatto, Amatory, Lovelilt and Pekoe are all possibilities. Some who may find favour ROCKINGHAM ALLOA RABBLE.
Form in the Wellington Cup suggests an excellent chance for Catalogue and he should run prominently. Wild Chase has not been showing his best lately but Oratory is back to form and, after her brilliant mile on Thursday, will have to be considered. Round Up has had two hard races but the shorter distance should suit him. Dictate is on the improve and Siegmund should do bettor than in the Wellington Cup, in which ho did not have the best of l,uck. Tiger Gain and Lucullus Lad should run solid races. The favourites may be CATALOGUE SIEGMUND ORATORY.
Lord Nuffield is a capable sprinter and Nereus has won recently. Vadanoe and Alloa have been successful at the meeting and they should beat most or the others, although Accomplice, Sunbeam and Sam's Choice may run good races. The main fancies may be VADANOE ALLOA LORD NUFFIELD.
Catalogue may keep his previous engagement, in which his prospects' appear bright Taitoru should make a forward showing and the class should suit Francis Drake. Lucullus Lad and Valamito may be expected to perform well if started and other prospects are Grey Honour, Debham and Roaming. The best fancied may be FRANCIS DRAKE VALAMLTO ROAMING.
The race he had on Thursday might improve Triune and his chance should be good. Ben Braggie nnd Lady lna should again go well and Brunhild is not to be despised, ipp liow and I akanui have run good races at the meeting but. Laughing Lass has been disappointing. Some who may find favour are TRIUNE BKX BU AGGIE BRUNHILD.
Silver River, Cricket, Miskna and Lndy Montana are all in fine form and others capable of running solid races are Salient Knight, Nightdress, Le Toquet, Roy Bun and Balmenter.
