CIRCUIT OF TE RAPA M- -V '• i ! v;:- .. /_ BOUGHAL AND BRYCE STREET [BY TELEGRAPH —OWN COIIH EfJPONDENT] HAMILTON, Thursday A round by Boughal and Bryce Street, and half-mile gallops by Tosh, Sergia and Mangukaha were features of this morning's work at ,Te Rapa, when the course proper, 40ft. out and the . plough, provided fast going. , Fog delayed the start, and several horses could not bo timed. On the course proper, Sinking Fund (MoKonzie) and Desert Star (11. E. Thomson) finished together, clear of Respectful (McLaughlin) after a circuit, negotiated in 2.5 2-5. Desert Star, who is engaged in the Maramarua Hurdles on the first day at Thames, shaped well. The -best half-mile on the course proper was that of Tosh (Gilmer) and Sergia (Glading)., who finished their work in 51s. According to present intentions, Sergia Avill contest the Goldfields Cup on Saturday and will be ridden bv J. Winder.
On the plough, Pirate King (Winder) and Prince Rangi (Bootsma) ran six furlongs in 1.17, the first half-mile in 51 3-ss.
Mangukaha (Thomson) "and Trilli arch (McKenzie) rail half a mile wel in 50 4-ss.
Boughal (Gilmer) and Bryce Streot (Thomson) impressed by completing a round in 1.47. tho first half-mile in 525, and five furlongs in 1.4. Boughal is in forward condition for his brush hurdle engagement at Thames.
