RANGIRIRI REGATTA
CLUB OFFICERS ELECTED The Rangiriri Regatta Club held its annual meeting last week, when the following officers were elected: —Patron, Mr. A. Sutherland; president, Mr. E. T. Bain; vice-president, Mr. \V. E McCutchan; secretary, Mr. A. M. Austin. The balance-sheet showed tho clnb to be in a sound financial position. An excellent programme, including Maori events, speed-boat races and Highland dancing, was arranged for this year's regatta on the Waikato River at Rangiriri on February •26. Appreciative reference was made to the hearty co-operation givon by the Maori members oi the club in successfully carrying through the arrangements for lut year's regatta.
