Jan. 12 In the Sheffield Shield cricket match against South Australia to-day Queensland in the second innings, made 155 for eight wickets (Cook 21). Ward took 5 wickets for 65. The game was held up until 5 p.m. owing to the wet wicket. South Australia won on the first innings by 206 runs.
