BRADMAN'S LATEST RECORD Mr. Clem Hill, whose aggregate records for Shield and first-class matches in Australia have been toppled bv Don Bradman, s'ent the following, wire to the South Australian captain: "Congratulations on beating my aggregate records. Keep going." "In tho brief period that he lias been playipg first-class cricket, Bradmnn's is a wonderful performance," said Mr. Hill. "Bradman is undoubtedly the greatest run-getter the world has ever seen." ' Mr. Hill began his long first-class career when he played against Victoria in December, 1894, and ended it, in effect, in 1914. although lie returned to the game in 1924 to play for South Australia against Victoria in tho Giffen testimonial match. Bradman played his first Shield match in tho 1927-28 season.
