DEPARTMENTAL BUSINESS MUCH WORK AHEAD PROGRAMME FOR THE SESSION ■ ■ , • ■ •'■•■ iff [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] WELLINGTON, Tuesday A meeting of the Cabinet was held to-day to consider departmental matters, and the Prime Minister, the Rt*. Hon. M. J. Savage, stated later that only routine business had been transacted. The Ministers will not be called together again until Thursday morning. when a start is to be made on the legislative programme for the remainder of the session. There was a considerable amount .of work for the Ministers to do, Mr. Savage said, and when they com? menced preparing the "legislative pipgramme on Thursday .they would tie starting on a period of hard work.
