PROPOSED MUNICIPAL BLOCK LOAN, 1937. The Mayor, Councillors and Burgesses of the Borough of Otahuhu hereby give notice pursuant to Section 0 of "The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926." I—THAT1 —THAT the amount of the proposed loan is £I7OO. 2—THAT the loan is required for the purpose of Purchasing the Land Adjoining the Council. Chambers, being Part of Allotment 3 of Section 4, Village of Otahuhu, containing 2 roods, and known as "Glasgow House" Block 3 —THAT the Otahuhu Borough Council, being unable to provide the necessary funds for such purpose out of ordinary revenue of the Borough, proposes to raise a special loan of £I7OO. 4—THAT the proposed security for the repayment of such loan shall be annually recurring special rate of one-sixteenth of a penny in the pound on the rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of Otahuhu. S—THAT it is proposed that, the term for which the said loan or any part thereof may be borrowed shall be thirty - years and that before raising the said loan or any part thereof provision shall be made for the repayment thereof by establishing a sinking fund, calculated on the j amount to be raised of not less than | £2 per centum per annum. i 6 —THAT the rate of interest that may be paid in respect of the said loan or any part thereof shall be such as shall not produce to the lender or lenders a rate exceeding £3/10/ per centum per annum. 7—THAT no amount payable as either interest or sinking fund in respect of the said loan and no part of the cost or raising the same shall be paid out of loan money.
