INSTITUTE AFFAIRS
Auckland Centro. —Members of the Auckland Centro Women's Institute entertained Mrs. Harold Davis at an afternoon tea in the board room of tho Farmers' Trading Company. Mrs. Davis had occupied the position of secretary for several years, and on her removal to Christchurch was appointed secretary of the North Canterbury district federation of women s institutes. The president. Mrs. C. M. e ®'' welcomed Mrs. Davis. An enjoyable programme included recitations by Mrs. R. Browne, violin solos by Miss Oberg and songs by Mesdames Bush, Brittain, Kendal] and Rotherv Mesdames d© Montalk and Kendall were the accompanists.
