CENTAURUS PICTURES FLIGHT TO WELLINGTON NATIONAL SWIMMING TITLES Pictures recording the flight of the Imperial Airways flying-boat Centaurus from Auckland to 'Wellington last week are a notable feature of the current issue of Thk Weekly News, on sale to-day. Photographs of the passengers and crew taken during the trip, a snapshot of the peak of Mount Kgmont viewed from the Centaurus and pictures depicting the arrival of the flying-boat on Wellington Harbour are among the illustrations appearing on the centre double page of the illustrated section. Sidelights on tlie arrival and stay of the Centaurus in Auckland are depicted in two further pages of pictures. In striking contrast are two splendid camera studios of the flying-boat in flight over Auckland and at her harbour moorings. "Jfaniilv Reunion" is the title of this week's frontispiece, a charming full-page plate, which shows Captain J. W. Burgess, commander of the flying-boat, with his wife and in* fant son, whom ho met in Wellington. Topical pictures illustrating the many events which took place throughout the country over the holiday period include track and lawn snapshots taken during the Auckland racing and trotting meetings, glimpses of New Year holiday revels in Rotorua, scenes at the Mount, Tauranga, and photographs secured during Napier's annual mardi gras. Photographs of celebrations held to mark the centenaries of Moeraki, North Otago and Riverton, Southland, are also published.

Fast times are jiredicted by The Weekly News swimming correspondent in a special article reviewing the New Zealand swimming championships, which will begin at New Plymouth on Saturday.
