STRANDED STEAMER
MELBOURNE, Dec. 27 The coastal freighter Saros, which ran ashore at Cape Everard, is holed amidships and lies on the rocks with 15ft. of water in the engine room. She was pounded all day yesterday by .a heayy swell, but last night the sea moderated and the steamer may not break up.
