BRUTAL MURDERER
CROWD WATCHES CRIME WOMAN'S SHOCKING DEATH (Received December 27, S p.m.) NEW YORK, Dec. 27 Vincent Franco, aged 26, killed his sweetheart, Antoinette Imperiale, aged 22, on a vacant section in the city and in full view of dozens of spectators. He beat her head with an iron pipe, shot her several times, and drove his car over her body. Surrounded by a silent crowd, he passively awaited the police. He said his motive was her refusals to marry him.
