BUMPED KING'S CAR

AN EMBARRASSED MOTORIST LONDON. Dec, 17 London's most embarrassed man was a motorist who was driving a small saloon car in Trafalgar Square when he collided with a large car in which he saw the King and Queen. The King looked out to see what had happened, and the Queen unperturbedlv glanced over his shoulder. Except for the removal of some paintwork from the rear mudguard, the Royal car was undamaged, and the King gave the order to drive on immediately it was clear that the private car was little damaged. The collision was the result of the private driver mistaking a police signal. "The King seemed rather amused," said Mr. Charles Gunter, an eye-witness.
