SUPPORT OF LOYALISTS
LABOUR IN BRITAIN LARGE LONDON GATHERINGS (Received December 20, 9 p.m.) LONDON. Dec. 20 Besides an overflow meeting at the Hammersmith Hall, 9000 people attended a Labour demonstration in favour of the Spanish loyalists in the Albert Hall. The Leader of the Labour Party, Mr. C. R. Attlee, referring to his re-
cent visit to Spain, said ho found an orderly Government and a civilised administration. The loyalists, given equal opportunities, would win the war. They would have done so already if nonintervention had been equally applied. Sir Stafford Cripps said the British Avorkers would hound the Government from office if it granted General Franco belligerent rights.
