ST. DAVID'S GUIDES
BREAK-UP PARTY HELD The annual break-up of the St. David's girl guides and brownies took place last week when a pleasant evening was spent in games and items. A presentation was made to Sister Constance, who will shortly relinquish her services with the church. The presentation was made by Mrs. Hayden, while the guides also presented her with their highest honour, a "Thanks" badge. Two guides, Captain Aitken and Brown Owl Atkins, received a piece of crystal each from Mrs. Crawford on behalf of those present, the gifts being made in appreciation of their many years of work for the guides and of their valuable influence over the company and pack respectively.
