ACCLIMATISATION SOCIETY [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON. Monday The Hamilton and Te Mata branches of the Auckland Acclimatisation Society held their annual picnics during the week-end, the former at Ruakura and the latter at Te Mata. Competitions for the children and adults were held at eac.li outing and there was also trap-shooting; for the men. R??ulti were as follows: — Hamilton Branch.— Trap-shooting: Mens trophy shoot, R. Gammin. A\ omen s trophy .shoot: W. Gribble, shooting for Mri. G. A. Tarr. , . T e Mata Branch. —Trap-shooting events: Eve-opener, G. A. Tarr, D. Mitchell, J. Millar, J. 'i'ait and W. Phillips tied and divided the' prize-money. Six-bird trophy shoot: W. Phillips. Men's trophy shoot: L. Phillips, j- T. Phillips, Women's trophy shoot: G A Tarr, shooting for Miss C'ussen, I ; |/ Phillips, Miss Nosey, 'J. Men's second trophy shoot: W. J. Phillips, 1; W. N. Jerome, 2.
NEW ZEALAND MILK PRODUCTS / About 1000 people attended the annual picnic of New Zealand Milk Products. Limited. held at Oneroa Beach, Wniheke. on Saturday. During the day a programme of sports events was held, and dancing was enjoyed in the Oneroa Cabaret. Results of the race# are as follows: N.Z. Milk Products 75Yds Ladies' Championship.—J. Webb, 1; M.
