The deoarture for Newcastle of the' Union Company's steamer Gabriella, Western Wharf, has been postponed until to-daj. The British steamer Harmanteh. which Is discharging wheat from Geelong. will this morning from Central Wharf to Kings Wharf. With Australian cargo, the Union Company's steamer Kairanga is expected to leave Newcastle this evening for Auckland, where she is due on Sunday or Monday. To continue discharge of cargo from Coff's Harbour, the Watchlin Line motor-ship Port Tauranga will leave Wellington to-day for Tokomaru Bay and Auckland, where she should arrive on Thursday night. The. Northern Company advises that the steamer Rangitoto will not run in the service to Great Barrier this summer. The steamer Claymore will take her trips every Thursday at 9 a.m. As a consequence, there will be no passenger service to Whangarei on Thursdays. RANG IT ATA FOR LONDON

ORFORD ON THURSDAY The Orient liner Orford will arrive here from Brisbane on a cruise at six o'clock on Thursday morning and sail at six o'clock on Friday evening for Wellington and Sydney. ( THE PORT GISBORNE Reaching Wangnnui yesterday from Lannceston in ballast, the Port Line motor-ship Port Gisborne began homeward loading. She will leave on Friday for Auckland, where she is due on Monday. WAIRANGI TO LOAD In ballast from Brisbane, the Shaw, Savill and Albion motor-ship Wairangi arrived at Wellington yesterday and will lay up until Monday, when she will leave for Wanganni to begin homeward loading. The Wairangi is due here from New Plymouth on January 7. MARIPOSA SOUTH-BOUND The Matson liner Mariposa will leave Suva to-day on her voyage southward from San Francisco. She will reach Auckland at seven o'clock on Friday morning and leave at five o'clock the same afternoon for Sydney and Melbourne. Bringing about 500 passengers, the Union Company's transtasman liner Awatea arrived from Sydney early yesterday afternoon and berthed at Prince's Wharf. She will leave on her return at live o'clock this afternoon. The Port Line steamer Port Campbell, with general cargo from London, arrived in the stream last night and will berth at Prince's Wharf at seven o'clock this morning. From Miike, Japan, the Yamashita Kisen Kaisha steamer Chifuku Mam will arrive in the stream at 10 o'clock to-night and will berth to-morrow at Central Wharf.
