GALA AT PATERANGI
FUNDS FOR TENNIS COURT A gala held at Paterangi to raise funds for a new tennis court attracted a large attendance, good business being done at a bring-and-buy stall. In the evening a very successful tennis dance was held. There was a largo attendance of visitors from surrounding districts. Among those present were:—The Misses Thelma Graham, Kathleen Harris, Stella Jowsey, Beatrice Cor boy, Gwen Law, Mavis Budden, Maijorio Willcocks, Gladys Curtis, Joan Silvester, Margaret Hewson, Dorothy Hollister, Betty Allan, Mavis Mackv, Nanco Curtis, Nellie Cheync, Lily Silverster, Kitty Macky, Ella Shaw, Curl Macky, Nancy Rhodes, S. Mathews, I. Spiers and Y. Ryburn.
