CONCERT AT INFIRMARY
An excellent programme of entertainment for the patients in the Auckland Infirmary was provided by the Auckland Piano-Accordion and Mouth Orean Band under the conductorship of Mr. G. A. J. Jackson on Saturday afternoon. After playing on the lawn, the band visited the different wards and huts, and entertained those of the patients who were bedridden. Accompanying the band were Messrs. Jimmie Fitzpatrick and W. Eady, who gave vocal items. Tho entertainment had been arranged by "Uncle Jim," and the following artists assisted:— Mesdames F. Pivott, Holthouse, Messrs. N. Randall, R. Farrow, R. Peareo, S. Pcarce, G. Armitage, A. Coullan and R. Middleton. The entertainment was greatly enjoyed by tho inmates of the Infirmary.
