TRAFFIC DELAYS
CARS ON GRAFTON BRIDGE Exceptionally heavy motor traffic, inward bound, caused unusual delays on Grafton Bridge shortly before eight o'clock last night. At ono stage, tho line of waiting cars extended completely across the bridge, and tho queue" moved forward four times before cars at tho back finally reached and passed tho traffic officer on duty at the Symonds Street end of tho bridge. Stops were so long that piany drivers switched off their .motors while waiting for. the signal, te proceed,
