. An old-time dance carnival will be held to-night at the Pirate Shippe Cabaret Mil-ford Beach. The presentation will be entitled. "A Trip to China-, depictmp; New, York on Christmas Jiive. Dance , music appropriate' to this setting will be supplied by- the Pirate Shippe_ orchestra of. six instruments. Special arrangements have been made for the convenience of patrons, travelling by Vehicular ferry. Further particulars are advertised. Dancing under ideal conditions wiH be available to patrons of the Peter Pah Cabaret to-night, when dress vi ill be optional. .Floor arrangements be in the capable hands of Sir. Neil Edgar. The popular Showboat Cabaret, which was closed while"'it was being, shifted to a new berth, is to reopen on Saturday nest, December 18. Reservations for New Year's f . I'.ve are now. open.
