Evidence was given that defendant had supplied beer to a 15-year-old boy who had become intoxicated Other charges had been heard in the Children's Court. „__ .. .j Sergeant T. Kelly, of Hamilton, said that defendant had admitted to the police that he had gone to a hotel in Cambridge and secured liquor after Defendant asked that his name be suppressed as this was his first offence. Accused was convicted and placed on probation for one year. A stipulation was that he should take out a prohibition order, which must be renewed again at the end of 12 months, and not attend any public dance..
