NEW ZEALAND ASSOCIATION LOSS ON TOUR BY JAPANESE [by telegraph—press association] WELLINGTON, Wednesday A financial loss of £220 on the tour of the Japanese athletes Togami and Murakoso was reported at the annual meeting of the New Zealand "Amateur Athletic Association. The national cross-country championships in 3038 were allotted to "West Coast and the track and field championships, 1939, to Hawke's Bay. It was decided to invite Australia to send a return team to next year's cross-country championships. Officers were elected as follows:—Patron, Lord Gal way; president, Mr. R. W.
