SANATORIUM SITE

BOARD TO MEET MINISTER BOMBAY AREA FAVOURED Arrangements to meet the Minister of Health, the Hon. P. Fraser, during his approaching visit to Auckland to discuss a sanatorium site were made by the Auckland Hospital Board last night. In view of the preference which the board has shown toward an area at Bombay the Director-General of Health, Dr. M. H. Watt, has referred the position to the Minister for a decision. The chairman, the Rev. W. C. Wood, said Mr. Fraser's visit would offer an opportunity of making a final selection. The board had decided to choose Bombay, where land which was known as* Ingram's was considered to be more suited to the purpose than the higher areas in the vicinity.
