LABOURER INJURED

STRUCK BY FALL OF EARTH Internal injuries were suffered by a labourer, Mr. Alfred Hardy, aged 57, married, of Barrett's Road, Riverhead, when he was caught by a fall of earth at a Public Works quarry at Coatesville yesterday. Mr. Hardy was taken m a St. John ambulance to the Auckland Hospital, where his condition last night was reported to bo serious.
