FLYING-BOAT SERVICE PLANS BEING ACCELERATED CANBERRA. Nov. 2,5 It may be possible to start the air mail service with flying-boats between Britain and Australia early in the New Year in spite of the delay in the construction of bases as was reported yesterday. The Prime Minister, Mr. J. A. Lyons, said the Commonwealth would do everything possible to hurry the start of the service, and if the cost was not - too high temporary facilities probably would be provided.
