PORTRAIT OF THE PRIME MINISTER PRESENTED TO THE AUCKLAND LABOUR CLUB BY SIR ERNEST DAVIS A life-size oortrait of the Prime Minister, Mr. Savage, was presented to the Auckland Labour Club last night by the Mayor, Sir Ernest Davis. It is proposed to forward the picture after 1 2 months to the National Art Gallery. This photograph shows Mr. Savage sitting for the portrait at the London studio of the English artist John A. A. Berrie during the Prime Minister'® recent visit to Great Britain.
