BRITISH IN INDIA : COST OF OPERATIONS Times Cable LONDON, Nov. 19 The Delhi correspondent of the Times siates that tribesmen in the lower Shaktu Valley killed one and wounded five South Wales Bcirderers and wounded five Indian soldiersTribal resistance in Waziristan, however, is ceasing though the Fakir of Ipi and other recalcitrants are still at large. In the year's campaign 237 Government troops have been killed and 663 wounded. The cost of the operations has been £450,000.
