HORSE RIDER'S FALL
SERIOUS HEAD INJURY As a result of a fall from a horse at Blockhouse Bay yesterday Miss Freda Adele Pegler, aged 19, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Pegler. of 9 Amaru Road. Oneihunga, suffered possibly a fracture of the base of the skull. She was admitted to the Auckland Hospital, her condition last night being serious.
