TENNIS CLUB DANCE
BUCKLAND'S BEACH SEASON The Buckland's Beach Tennis Club opened its season on Saturday afternoon, many members and friends being present. The president, Mr. J. Gilmour, formally opened the courts and" welcomed the visitors. Other speakers were Mr. deal and Mr. Lamb, who represented the Auckland Tennis Association. Afternoon tea was provided by the wife of the president, Mrs. Gilmour. In the evening a dance was held in the local hall.

Hirst, Mrs. George Wallace, Mrs. H. Wallace, Mrs. Hynmason, Mrs. Hawkes, Mrs. Leech. Mrs. G. Allen, Mrs Brookes, Mrs. Claire. Miss Thelma Farrelly, Miss Marjorie Greer, Miss Hyauiason, Miss Pat Pollard, Miss dime Armitage, Miss Joan Booth, Miss Ktlino Hawkes, Miss Newman, Miss Jones and Miss Joan Leech.
