HORSES TO REMAIN
NOTED CAVALRY REGIMENTS MECHANISATION OF OTHERS (Received November 3, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, Nov. 3 Speaking in the House of Commons, the Secretary for War, Mr. L. HoreBelisha, said the policy of the Army Council was to retain the equivalent of at least one brigade of cavalry "horsed." In addition to the Household Cavalry, two of the oldest cavalry regiments, the Royal Dragoons and Royal Scots Greys, would not be affected by the policy of mechanisation.
