CAR CONVERSION CHARGE
SEQUEL TO LONG 'CHASE TWO MEN REMANDED [by telegraph—press Association] WANOrANUI, Wednesday The sequel to a chase from Ohakune down Parapara Road last night, following an assault on a traffic inspector, was the appearance in the Police Court this morning of Leslie James Wedderspoon, aged 21, bootmaker, of Auckland, and Robert George Burns, aged 19, labourer, of Auckland, on a charge that, on or abont October 19, at Hast-
ings, they converted to their own use a car valued at £175, tho property of Gladys Bransch. They were remanded until Friday.
