CAR ROLLS INTO STREAM MISHAP APPROACHING BRIDGE [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON", Wednesday Extensive injuries to his head, hands and legs were received by Mr. Charles Lafferty, of Frankton. a. niember of the Hamilton Borough Council, when the car he was driving left the road when approaching a bridge at Omabu, on the main Thanies-Paeroa road, last evening. The car was considerably damaged, as it overturned twice before it came to rest in a stream. Mr. Lafferty was admitted to a private hospital in Paeroa, and his condition is reported to ho not serious. Mr. Lafferty is the second member of the Hamilton Borough Council to be incapacitated through accident. Mr. Frederick Bc-si having broken his leg when lie fell some weeks ago.
