[BT TELEGRAPH —OWN CORRESPONDENT J TAURANGA, Wednesday The Tauranga Borough Council, at a special meeting, unanimously decided to purchase the high school reserve of eight acres for £4500. Tilts reserve adjoins public domain* and is well elevated, with long water frontage to the Waikareao estuary and three streets. It also commands a splendid view of Mount Maunganui, the harbour arid portion of the Bay of Plenty. The council appointed the Mayor, Mry L. U. Wilkinson, and Mr. C. T.
