PHILISTINES' CLUB
FINAL MEETING OF YEAR The final meeting of the year of the Philistines' Club was hold on Saturday night. The chairman was Mr. Alan McElwain. Assisting with the entertainment programme, were Mrs. It. Reed, Miss Ida Lockwood and Mr. 11. Pawson (instrumental trios); Mrs. Harold Owers (songs); Mrs. E. Greenfield (violin solos); Messrs. Arthur Ripley, Frank Campbell, Alan McElwain and Ernest Thomas (lyric quartette); Mr. G. Burge and Mr. Alan McElwain (humour). Tho accompanists were Mrs. R. Reed, Mrs. M. Gully and Mr. Alan Pow.
