Oct. 15 The mysterious disappearance from one of the main Victorian country thoroughfares of a transport waggon laden with wool, tallow and skins valued at more than £I6OO has aroused fears that the driver may have been kidnapped and may have met with foul play. John Dempsey, of the Derbyshire Transport Service, Carlton, left Bendigo late on Monday for Melbourne with the loaded transport waggon.
