DISABLED SOLDIERS
WELFARE ASSOCIATION ELECTION OF OFFICERS The aims of the Disabled Soldiers' Welfare Association, in assisting returned men in regard to pensions, were outlined at the annual meeting of the association on Tuesday by Mr. W. A. Clinton. Several letters from members of Parliament who said they were in sympathy with the returned soldiers were read. Mr. H. O. Cross presidediection ()f officers resulted — President, Mr. W. A. Clinton; vicepresidents, Messrs. D. Beatson, J. McCabe and J. D. Hawke; secretary, Mr. W. G. C'avenbtt; treasurer, Mr. \\ . H. Allom; honorary solicitor f Mr. I. B. Slipper; honorary auditor, Air J',. Jonas; committee, Mesdames Gribble, Cross, Brown and Radford, Messrs. N. Gribble. A. Anderson, McCormick, 11. F. Bale, W. Radford, E. W. Wakefield, H. E. Ball and G. McEvoy.
