LEAGUE ASSEMBLY

ECONOMICS AND FINANCE British Wireless RUGBY, Oct. 4 A plenary session of the League Assembly at' Geneva adopted a series of resolutions on economic and financial matters. In these approval was given to the continuation of the efforts now being made to achieve freer international trade. At the request of Mr. S. M. Bruce, Australian delegate, the Assembly decided to study means of improving the standard of living. The Assembly also approved a resolution providing for consultation with non-members of the League in connection with the inquiry into the reform of the Covenant.
