COST OF LIVING
INDEX IN BRITAIN ' PROPOSED REVISION (Received October 5, 6.5 p.m.) British Wireless RUGBY. Oct. 4 Thirty thousand representatives of working-class households are being asked to assist in a inquiry by the Ministry of Labour with a view to a revision of the basis of the cost of living index. The procedure to be followed is based on the recommendations of advisory committees on which employers and workers were represented as well as retailers and statistical authorities.
