NEW HOSPITAL DISTRICT
THREE BOARDS COMBINED [bv telegraph—ovrx correspondent] WAIHI, Monday Advice has been received that the Thames, Waihi and Coromandel hospital districts will be abolished as from November 30 and that a new hospital district will be constituted. The first election of members will be held at the same time as the next ordinary election of local authorities, but in the meantime local authorities are asked to nominate representatives on the board as follows: —Thames borough, two members; Paeroa borough, one; Ohinemutu county, two; Thames county, one; Hauraki Plains county, three; Waihi borough, two; Coromandel county, one. The first meeting of the new board will be held at Thames on December 1.
