EVENT AT PUKEMIRO The Pukemiro Junction Amateur Cycling Club held an invitation sealed handicap race for A grade riders and the fifth race for the Captain's Cup for B grade riders. WHANGAREI ROAD RACE [from our own correspondent] WHANGAREI, Monday The Whangarei Cycle RaVing Club hold a 28-mile road race on Saturday, thus concluding the road racing season. The event was won by H. Alexander, who started from scratch. His time was lh 15m 355. J. Byers (7m) was second and T. Young (7m) was third.
