SUM OF £752 COLLECTED A> [from our own correspondent] KAWAKAWA, Monday The final results of the Kawaknwa Queen Carnival were announced in the Soldiers' Hall, Kawakawa, on Saturday night. The Plunket queen, Mrs. J. L. Rayner, was first with 21,672 votes, tho sports queen, Miss C. M. Rogers, was second, and the returned soldiers' queen, Miss B. Bryers, third. The president of the carnival committee, Mr. T. J. V. Dunlojj, announced thpf £752 had been raised in the carnival competition.
