H.M.S. LEITH'S CRUISE
VISIT TO WHANGAREI [by TELEGRAPH —own correspondent] WHANGAREI, Tuesday Advice has been received by tho Whangarei Borough Council that H.M.S. Leith will visit Whangarei from October 5 to 11. A committee consisting of the Mayor, Mr. W. Jones, tho deputy-Mayor, Mr.' G. H. Morrish, and Messrs. It. S.' Finch and A. T. Brainsby was appointed at last evening's meeting of tlio council to co-operate with the Whangarei Harbour Board in welcoming the officers and men of tho vessel.
